# Agent settings

**Settings** → **Agent** controls how far a single turn can go, with two settings: **Max steps per turn** and **Subagents**.

## Max steps per turn

This caps the internal steps one turn can run. Your plan sets the ceiling:

| Plan | Ceiling |
| --- | --- |
| Basic | 30, fixed |
| Pro | 80 |
| Ultra | 100 |

On Pro and Ultra, you can set any number from 1 up to your ceiling. A lower number spends less per turn, but the agent pauses sooner and asks you to continue.

## Subagents

Subagents let one turn run several agents in parallel. 3D-Agent decides when they help, so a turn may use none.

| Plan | Subagents |
| --- | --- |
| Basic | Not included |
| Pro | Up to 2 |
| Ultra | Up to 4 |

## During your first-month boost

While your [first-month boost](https://3d-agent.com/docs/plans-and-limits#first-month-boost) lasts, **Max steps per turn** shows the boosted limit.
