# Renders

3D-Agent sets up cameras and lights, renders your scene and shows the result in the chat. To change a render, describe the change and ask for a new one.

## Ask for a render

Say what you want to see and how:

- *Render the living room from the doorway at eye level.*
- *Make a close-up of the watch face with a shallow depth of field.*
- *Render the product on a white background with soft studio lighting.*

## Iterate on a render

Describe the change, then ask for a new render:

- *Move the bed against the left wall and render again.*
- *Move the camera lower and further back.*
- *Make it golden hour and add warm light through the window.*

Each change saves a [checkpoint](https://3d-agent.com/docs/checkpoints), so you can compare versions or go back.

## Long renders and animations

For high-quality stills and frame ranges, install the **Render Queue** plugin. The agent starts the render, follows its progress and tells you when it's done.

It uses your active camera and the scene's output path unless you say otherwise, and confirms long frame ranges before it starts. See [Render Queue](https://3d-agent.com/docs/render-queue).

## Keep renders out of the chat

Turn on **Settings** → **Appearance** → **Hide scene thumbnails**. Answers still arrive in full.
