# Scripting and animation

3D-Agent writes and runs Blender Python for you. Describe the task instead of writing the script.

## Automate Blender

Automation suits repetitive or fiddly tasks:

- *Add a bevel modifier to every object in the Furniture collection.*
- *Rename all selected objects to Rock_01, Rock_02 and so on.*
- *Set up three-point lighting around the selected object.*
- *Apply the same material to every object whose name starts with Wall.*

To see the code, open the [checkpoints panel](https://3d-agent.com/docs/checkpoints#open-the-checkpoints-panel) and click **Show the code the agent ran** on that change.

## Animate

Describe the motion, its length and its timing:

- *Animate the camera flying around the house over 10 seconds, ending at the front door.*
- *Make the fan blades spin continuously.*
- *Rig this character and add a walk cycle.*

Render animations with the **Render Queue** plugin. See [Render Queue](https://3d-agent.com/docs/render-queue).

For keyframing and motion step by step, see [AI animation in Blender](https://3d-agent.com/blender-ai/animation).

## Next steps

- [Prompting guidelines](https://3d-agent.com/docs/prompting-guidelines): Write prompts that work on the first try.
