# Tutorial: stage and render an interior

You'll build a bedroom from one prompt, change it the way a client would, and render versions to compare.

First, [connect 3D-Agent to Blender](https://3d-agent.com/docs/quickstart). The [Poly Haven](https://3d-agent.com/docs/poly-haven) plugin is optional but gives better lighting.

### 1. Save a new file

In Blender, open a new file and save it as `bedroom.blend`.

### 2. Build the room

> Build a Parisian bedroom with herringbone parquet, tall windows with sheer curtains, a double bed, two nightstands and a reading chair. Realistic materials.

### 3. Frame the shot

> Add a camera in the doorway at eye level, looking at the bed, with a 35 mm lens.

### 4. Light it

> Light the room like a sunny morning: warm sunlight through the windows and soft fill light inside.

With Poly Haven installed, you can also ask: *Add a Poly Haven morning sky HDRI.*

### 5. Render

> Render the view from the camera.

The render appears in the chat.

### 6. Iterate like a client

Describe each change, then ask for a new render:

- *Move the bed against the left wall and render again.*
- *Make it evening, with the bedside lamps on.*

You can go back to the morning version any time from **Checkpoints**.

## Tips

- For final-quality stills or animations, install **Render Queue** so long renders run with progress. See [Renders](https://3d-agent.com/docs/renders#long-renders-and-animations).
- Save your `.blend` before big changes. See [Checkpoints](https://3d-agent.com/docs/checkpoints).
- For more on archviz and interiors, see [Blender for architecture](https://3d-agent.com/blender-ai/architecture).

## Next steps

- [Renders](https://3d-agent.com/docs/renders): Move cameras and lights by prompt and render again.
- [Dress a scene with free assets](https://3d-agent.com/docs/tutorial-free-assets): Add free HDRIs, materials and models with plugins.
- [Checkpoints](https://3d-agent.com/docs/checkpoints): Restore an earlier version of your scene.
