Render Queue
The Render Queue plugin renders final stills and frame ranges from your open Blender scene. The agent starts the render, follows its progress and tells you where the files went.
Install it from Plugins. It needs no account or internet.
Ask for a render
Render the current frame with the active camera.
Render frames 1 to 120 from the camera named Cam_Wide.
Do a quick low-sample preview render of this frame.
The render runs in Blender’s own render window. While it runs, the agent tells you which frame it’s on.
Defaults
Unless you say otherwise, a render uses:
- Camera: the scene’s active camera. Name another camera to render from it.
- Frames: the current frame, as a still. Give a start and end frame for an animation.
- Samples: the scene’s render settings. Ask for fewer samples for a faster, noisier preview. This works with Cycles and EEVEE.
- Output: the output path set in Blender’s Output Properties. To use another folder, give its full path.
Settings the render changes, like the camera or frame range, go back to how they were when it ends.
Limits
- One render runs at a time. Wait for it to finish before you ask for another.
- The agent confirms long frame ranges before it starts.
- To stop a render, cancel it in Blender’s render window.
If it doesn’t work
- “The scene has no active camera”: set an active camera in Blender, or name the camera to render from.
- “output_dir is not writable” or “must be an absolute path”: give a full path to a folder you can write to.
- “Render job … is already running”: wait for the current render to finish, or cancel it in Blender.
