Troubleshooting
A chat stopped or failed
When a turn ends early, a card above the composer says why. Find its message below.
Your Blender work isn’t lost. Every turn that changed the scene saved a checkpoint.
Paused after 30 steps
The turn hit your plan’s step limit: 30 steps on Basic, 80 on Pro and 100 on Ultra. Your progress is saved.
- Click Continue generating to keep going. It uses 1 prompt.
- To get more done per prompt, split big jobs into smaller prompts, or see Plans and limits.
This run reached its time limit
The run went on too long. Click Continue from here to keep going. It uses 1 prompt.
Connection interrupted
The answer stopped early, usually because the connection dropped. Click Retry.
This chat is full
The chat is too large to send. Click Continue in new chat. Your last prompt comes along as a draft you can edit. Retrying in the same chat won’t work.
To avoid this, start a new chat when you see This chat is getting heavy. See Long chats.
This message is too long to send
Your message is over the size limit. Shorten it and send it again, or attach long text as a document.
This request could not be safely continued
3D-Agent stopped the turn to protect your scene. Send a new prompt. If it keeps happening, quit and reopen 3D-Agent, then try again.
Error generating response
This banner shows a more specific message and a Regenerate button:
| Message | What to do |
|---|---|
| 3D-Agent ran into an internal error | Click Regenerate. If it keeps happening, open a ticket. |
| 3D-Agent reached this chat’s context limit | Start a new chat, or shorten what you’ve pasted into this one. |
| The connection restarted | Click Retry to continue. |
Do failed turns use a prompt?
Not if the failure is on our side. A turn that fails before it starts working, or breaks on our error, gives the prompt back. A turn you stop yourself doesn’t. See Plans and limits.
Still stuck?
If Blender isn’t connected, see Blender won’t connect. Otherwise, get help and include the exact message.
