Updates

3D-Agent checks for updates on its own and asks before installing them. Each update takes you straight to the latest version.

Install an update

When a new version is out, New Version appears at the bottom right with the version number.

• Update Now downloads and installs it, then restarts 3D-Agent.
• View Changelog shows what changed.
• Remind Me Later lets you pick In 5 minutes, In 15 minutes, In 1 hour or In 4 hours.

Then restart Blender. Until you do, the banner shows Waiting for Blender to reload the extension….

Required updates

Updates marked Required Update can’t be postponed. They download and install on their own.

Check for updates yourself

Open Settings → General and click Check for Updates. If you’re up to date, you see You’re running the latest version.

If updates don’t install

• macOS: turn on App Management for 3D-Agent. Without it, you install every update by hand. See Permissions.
• Any system: download the latest version from 3d-agent.com/download  and install it over your current one.
