Privacy and data
Your Blender files, checkpoints and chats stay on your computer. Your prompts go to the AI model that does the work.
This page is a summary. The Privacy Policy is the binding version.
On your computer

The data folder is named Jan for technical reasons. It belongs to 3D-Agent.
To move it, open Settings → General → App Data → Change Location. 3D-Agent moves your data and restarts.
Checkpoints and chats on your computer are yours to delete. Remove old checkpoints in Settings → Checkpoints.
Sent to the cloud

Session recording
Session recordings can capture your screen in the app, including chats, prompts and scenes. They’re kept for 30 days.
To turn them off, open the web dashboard , go to Profile and switch off Help improve 3D-Agent. The desktop app follows that setting.
